The managing authority of a reserve has a duty to check the status of populations of plant species that present a major heritage interest. In this respect, the most sensitive species are subject to specific monitoring consisting in an annual count of specimens of each species. The number of specimens and the surface area covered by the colony are recorded for each species. All of these species are mapped.
